As you get some experience posing and build a stock of photos, it is time to start promoting yourself. You will need to put together a resume. A modeling resume is simply a list of your relevant experience. As a beginning model, you probably lack tear sheets (published print work) and runway credits. Put together a list of photographers that you have tested with and any other relevant experience that may increase your value as a model, such as dancer experience, promotional modeling (girls that stand outside a newly opened store and give away free samples of products), etc. Use the photographs from the test shoots to put together Comp Cards (or Zed Cards).
Comp Cards should have a few thumbnail size images of you, your stats and contact information.

Here is a sample comp card.
Give your comp cards to people that may help you find work such as staff of a modeling agency or a commercial photographer.
